How to cope with choking when playing games? This sounds interesting. Have you tried it yourself? |

How to cope with choking when playing games? That is an extremely good article. At least I now know that this has a name: "choking", that it is different from panicking, and that it happens to everybody. As a secondary note, googling "how to cope with choking" yields lots of unhelpful results ^^ |

How to cope with choking when playing games? @bd33 It may help, but it may also heighten your consciousness, which is undesirable. However, this doesn't work in tournaments or in arcade games, where it matters the most. |

How to cope with choking when playing games? @Robotnik this is a serious problem that has affected my gaming performance for years. In addition, waiting for the next day means that I have to do my warmup routines again. It's not like you can just wake up and full-combo a 1600-note song. |

How to cope with choking when playing games? @fbueckert I've tried that for this specific purpose (seriously), but my reflexes take a serious hit, which doesn't really help to clear the non-critical parts of the game. |

Can I skip cutscenes in XCOM: Enemy Unknown? What about the cutscenes when a bunch of aliens awake and move out of sight? I find these to be huge concentration-killers, and add nothing, yet they can't be skipped. |
