comment Dwarf Fortress: unable to dig because of damp stone?
Did you by any chance select an embarkation point with aquifers? Damp stones means there's water on the other side. Such jobs are automatically cancelled because otherwise the dorfs will happily dig through into rivers or lakes and cause your entire fortress to be flooded

comment Skyscrapers in sim city 4?
What do you mean by 'build from'? In SC4 you don't directly build the structures, unless you're referring to buildings you 'plop' down yourself, like landmarks. To get skyscrapers you just mark out the zones and hope that there's sufficient demand and desirability in the area for the buildings to show up.

@RobertWertz I still don't see how this question is not a duplicate of the linked question, regardless of your suggestion

That's exactly what that question is asking about

comment Create a town layout
This does not answer the OP's question - he's asking for the ability to craft the town's layout manually, instead of relying on the game's random number generator to come up with one that is satisfactory

@Kitkat3547 Because that's a bad title? Try phrasing your question as, eh, a question.

@wolfboyft Also, it seems that the game is on Steam now. Have you tried redeeming the product code?

Have you tried using compatibility mode? Right click on the executable for the program, property, compatibility, select Windows XP from the menu

comment Family dweller?
"I am still curious as to which purpose it serves" - that's basically up to the developers. We can't know for sure, so we can't answer this question

What do you mean by 'were just normal as all others'? Will they breed or will they not?

Hi, your question has already been asked and answered at gaming.stackexchange.com/questions/200828/…. If this does not answer your question, try editing your question such that it is different from the linked question

comment What is the easiest way to farm Nazar?
There really isn't a good way to farm this - all enemies that drop the Nazar are uncommon spawns in their biomes. Personally I'd advice you keep playing until you find one. The cursed enemies are difficult to farm because they pass through lava and are otherwise immune to most environmental hazards.

comment Moods and captured/restrained enemies?
@Humungus Downward arrows indicate thirst and hunger. Exclamation marks are more urgent and indicate moods or insanity. The wiki doesn't list a brown arrow, though the dark red enraged status looks similar in color: dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Status_icon

comment Is there a glitch where the moose won't die?
According to the wiki, the Moose/Goose would take 30 hits from a fire staff before it dies, so you'll need one and a half fire staffs

comment Does Terraria have any Lore?
All of these are speculation though, and at no point does any of the NPCs. monsters, or text in the game give you any of this information

comment Is there an auto update for the GoG Galaxy Client?
Today my client updated itself prior to starting, so I can confirm the client is already capable of updating itself. Sort of wish there's a changelog or release notes for it somewhere though
