comment Playing Slenderman without sound card
Technically: Almost no PCs have a soundcard (as in, a silicone chip you plug into your computer). Instead, they have a sound device on the motherboard, which are nowadays so good you don't even need a sound card (but they're still nice to have). Slenderman is therefore probably talking about a sound device, and can't detect yours for some reason. If your computer has audio jacks on the back and can produce sound, you have a working, enabled sound device.
