comment Is it possible to change city size in SimCity?
It's kind of ironic. This Simcity is more of a downtown core simulator than a city simulator. Everything pushes you to upgrade vertically rather than have urban sprawl (HQs that increase in height, the progression of resource collection -> basic processing -> advanced manufacturing). So why is deleting/adding so buggy? (loss of vehicles/ roads overly aggressive binding to ploppables, etc.

comment Does a great work bring benefits to the entire region or just to the 4 cities which built it?
The big region w/ 16 cities is actually 4 small city clusters.

This what I expected. The type of resources generated by Great Works (education, tourists, energy, etc) all need a road connection for agents to travel along.

comment How do I increase the capacity of my university?
Using a circular city design (w/ the university in the middle) I've gotten one of my universities up to level 4. Now even though I've maxed out one or two of the classes at 2300/2300 I can never get the daily total higher than 3500/4500. So per my observations the students in the dorms will hold off for ~30 minutes after class starts and then swarm/fill the university, they may attend further classes but you don't seem to get credit for them. So in a long and about manner: it's about transportation.

Correct -- the space station is the only way for one city in the region to (indirectly) raise the tech level in another (ie: you will want to have a university in your electronics city to up your electronics production, this means you can research the Space Center great work & and you can save a ton producing your own computers).

comment How to increase demand for a product?
Trucks always "export" from your buildings. ie: your oil fields will have trucks that send them to the trade depot. Your trade depot will have trucks that will export the oil out of your city via the highway.

comment How much power do Home Solar Panels provide?
I googled the tweet -- looks like the % savings doesn't scale by education but rather by decreases by density. I put the tweet as an answer

In a newer tweet of his, he indicated that the % power savings scaled by education level (something like up to 50% for 5/5 cities).

comment Does education spread across cities to increase tech level, and how far?
To answer my own comment (simcity2013wiki.com/wiki/Great_Works). Space Center has 2 functions. It is both a tourist attraction and a place of higher education. The structure will increase not only the number of tourists but also the tech level of industrial zones in nearby cities. Level 3 tech industrial buildings will appear in connected cities even without universities.

I really hope that the next expansion has grand central railway station: 2x+ train platforms and an avenue style road connection.

Speaking of great works -- any ideas if you build a Space Center Great Work (which provides Tourists/Education) if this would boost the tech level of connected cities?

comment What is the relationship between zone density and wealth?
I didn't downvote but I though your answer was light on explaining how to create R$$$ wealth and didn't shoot down having parks in your Ind areas. In fact it would be a really really bad idea. The parks will be contaminated by ground pollution and sims that go use it will probably get sick
