comment How did this huge hole form?
FYI, The easiest way to do find a specific biome (I've done it for a jungle so I could has kitty) when playing single player is to get your game's seed, then plug that in to AMIDST. It will show the biomes and where they exist. I would suggest, depending on how you want to play, to load a random seed and TURN OFF showing temples, strongholds and villages. Once you do that, you can plug in your game's seed and not have anything spoiled. Aside from there's that biome i want to visit off to the north east...

To confirm this, hit F3 to turn on debug mode. Your current biome will be displayed in the upper left.

comment Reset a player's progress on a server
To follow up, the way to do this is by deleting files. The multicraft panel doesn't delete the files.

I can do that, but I'm curious if deleting someone from the players list via the multicraft panel has the same effect. I'd assume so, but do you know for sure?

Also, this is a hosted server with Exodus hosting, which uses the Multicraft control panel. I have full access to the server's files via FTP, too.

For the record, myself and another friend played for some time last night, so I don't want to completely reset the world from scratch.

And using sym links would make this folder automatically synced with dropbox. Or would this potentially cause problems? (I could see this if the saves are continually modified. Are they just modified when you click save, or does MC write to them continually?) I've used GameSave Manager on Windows in the past (supports dropbox saves), but it's Windows only.
