About me

Known elsewhere on the Internet (including Steam and the rest of Stack Exchange) as BoltClock, I'm a teen software developer who relishes hacking PHP on the Web, C# on his PC and Objective-C on his Mac. I adore math, Jesus, Apple and π, but not apple pie!

I'm not a hardcore gamer by any rate, but I do play some games. Puzzle's probably the genre that gets me the most.

My 5 most favorite games of all time (so you may see me patrolling these tags most often):

The Ratchet & Clank franchise, by Insomniac Games, who are awesome.
The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. I often prefer Knuckles to Sonic though, for some reason.
The reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. Admittedly, I was never interested in Lara Croft's previous capers, but Crystal Dynamics was right: I'm really captivated by the idea of going through this brand new, character-building adventure of survival with a fellow (albeit fictitious) human being.
The RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise, originally created by the talented Chris Sawyer, who is also awesome.
Team Fortress 2, my favorite class being tf2-spy (although I main as tf2-pyro).

If I see a Soldier rocket jump at me from out of nowhere I can easily take him out with his next rocket if my aim is right (and even if it isn't I can still shove him away with a few more puffs). It really is the only way given the Pyro's short range. I'll have to try picking him out with the Reserve Shooter next time — I often forget it can minicrit him just because he's in the air.

Nov 13	comment	Does the Frying Pan actually cause knockback? I've found that at times, non-critical melee damage can cause high knockback even in vanilla/sv_pure 1 servers.
Nov 8	comment	How do I upload old screenshots taken with traditional methods to Steam? For what it's worth, TF2 now provides an option (in Advanced Options) to send any screenshots it takes to Steam, even if you don't use the hotkey that's assigned to Steam.
