comment What's the correct number of workers to put on gathering vespene and minerals in StarCraft 2?
This isn't that simple for Zerg..

comment Is it better to spawn your first overlord at 9 or 10 supply?
Drones on the right image have longer travel distance once built (larvae spawns on the "wrong" side of Hatchery), which disrupts measures. Not sure if it changes the verdict though ;)

comment What's the best counter to marine spam?
Nowadays, after Fungal Growth change (duration is shorter, which means higher DPS), it is much more effective against Marines than before.

comment StarCraft 1 - grid layout
There's no official way, but it's perfectly possible (through modifying game files by specialized utilities).

Plus - it's easier to play another race using grid (shall opportunity arise).

comment Are there advantages for Protoss gateways over warp gates?
Maybe it's worth noting that 1.3.3 patch will shorten unit production times for Gateway (for Zealot, Stalker and Sentry).

comment What is the best strategy for beating the final Campaign Mission “All In” on brutal difficulty?
AOE upgrade actually makes targeting Kerrigan HARDER. It's easer to permastun her without it.

comment Can I avoid creating Colossi and still maintain reasonable win-loss ratio as Protoss?
+1 @tharibo: Yeah, my main issue at this level is probably smoothing my mechanics/macro, not HT vs Colossus :P

This looks like concrete conditions, I'll give my plan a shot and see how far it gets me.

You're right about win/loss ratio, I used unfortunate sentence BUT staying forever in Bronze would give much less than 50% ratio ;) ). I'm aware of difficulties of not using Colossus, I'm wondering how good can I perform without them (but this obviously depends of many factors). For example - is it possible/doable to get to Diamond and stay there without using Colossus (answer is probably hard - you don't know how good I can perform in theory).

@tzenes: ok then, seem like a plan :P It's unbelievable how powerful Zealots can be in mid/late game.

@tzenes: Actually any build order that aren't cheesy seems ok to me (and I'm in love with Protoss ;) ), I'm just sick of playing that colossus deathball (and of people complaining that I'm playing auto-win unit), and IMO HT deserves more attention ;) Day[9] played 2 base Chargelot/HT, like here youtube.com/watch?v=OUjgmiIqUQE . Nowadays it's obviously weakened by post-1.3 Khaydarin Amulet removal, but I guess I give it a try ;) Shouldn't make huge difference at my level.

@tzenes: Thanks, very good and funny answer. Just one thing: I dislike Colossus not because I need to take care of them (HT needs great amounts of babysitting, too - such damage dealers seem to get extra attention from enemy ;) ), but because playing it FORCES enemy to follow one path and that bores me to hell. I need a complete break from tall destroyer ;) Do you think that HT could be a viable total replacement for Colossus in dealing mass damage? (4gate bores me too)

Those situations doesn't look like ultimate HT demise. HT vs Ghost is micro/skill/scout-based (both units have abilities that disables each other; HT in its dark hour can merge to Archon; I can try to keep HTs splitted into several groups; I can scout to prepare for Ghosts etc). Fancy Sentry's FF micro can prevent (or at least - reduce it) escaping from storm area; in addition - regenerating shields (as well as mana) takes time (obviously mana regens much slower). So far so good (no urgent need for Colossi for now):)
