comment Is it possible to force Steam to convert all games to 'the new format' in one go?
You can do this individually without starting the game up by forcing steam to revalidate the game cache for each game, but that's not much help for fixing all games at once still.

comment What are the gameplay implications for each of the Digital Deluxe items?
It's worth noting that the Golem Banker is a once per character item, not a once per account one like the others, so you get your five days on each character you create.

comment How many chunks do I need to keep loaded to keep quarries working in Buildcraft?
With 1.3.2, all chunkloaders have a central config such as @SevenSidedDie suggested. There's large default, but admins can configure it however they like.

comment Should my energy collectors be running even when I'm logged off?
Specifically, most mods with a chunkloader have some way of viewing the chunks that mod is keeping loaded, but not special cases like the spawn zone. It's just not something that Mojang needed to worry about since there's no need to keep places loaded in vanilla Minecraft from a gameplay point of view. The spawn point is kept loaded as an optimisation for the first person reconnecting to the server.

You can't in Minecraft, or with any of the mods in Tekkit. There are some mods that may show you, specifically ChickenChunks might let you see all chunks loaded though I'm not sure if CB's interface that has that info shows all loaded chunks or only chunks loaded by his chunk loaders.

comment Is it possible to turn WoW PC client to a Mac one?
What about the data folder? These files aren't executable and also make up the vast bulk of the data that needs downloading.

comment How can I learn to be competitive in PvP and WvW?
Peter has done a good job addressing how to be competitive, but I just wanted to note: You can't learn how to enjoy something. That's just not how it works. PvP isn't for everyone. If you enjoy it, then go for it good or otherwise (especially WvW where it matters less). If not, then find something else that you do enjoy and do that instead. If you are the type of person who is easily frustrated by dieing then PvP may just not be for you because even when you are good you will still die. Often.

comment If I buy games via the Origin store do I need to install it?
@SergeBekenkamp: As always, if choice is what you are after the best choice is "both".

@Mr.Muskrat: You can avoid the "can't do a restore" issue completely by using a service like Dropbox to store your restore credentials.

comment Can I play Diablo III with one disc, two different battle.net accounts and two computers?
@Devin: Like I said, you can install D3 wherever you want using the CD you just can't play it at all without having a Battle.net account that has the game activated on it. D3 is an always-online game. You will be able to play it with the trail code, though obviously only with whatever restrictions are on a trial account (I honestly don't know).

comment Can I play Diablo III with one disc, two different battle.net accounts and two computers?
@Devin: The disk is meaningless as far as D3 is concerned. What really matters is the key that comes with the disk. This is registered against your Battle.net account and is what allows you to login anywhere that has D3 installed. If you buy D3 online via Blizzard you will get it registered against your account and then you can quite happily use your friends disk to install the game or download it.
