Specifically, most mods with a chunkloader have some way of viewing the chunks that mod is keeping loaded, but not special cases like the spawn zone. It's just not something that Mojang needed to worry about since there's no need to keep places loaded in vanilla Minecraft from a gameplay point of view. The spawn point is kept loaded as an optimisation for the first person reconnecting to the server.

There are some mods that may show you, specifically ChickenChunks might let you see all chunks loaded though I'm not sure if CB's interface that has that info shows all loaded chunks or only chunks loaded by his chunk loaders.

Sep 21	comment	How can I learn to be competitive in PvP and WvW? Peter has done a good job addressing how to be competitive, but I just wanted to note: You can't learn how to enjoy something. That's just not how it works. PvP isn't for everyone. If you enjoy it, then go for it good or otherwise (especially WvW where it matters less). If not, then find something else that you do enjoy and do that instead. If you are the type of person who is easily frustrated by dieing then PvP may just not be for you because even when you are good you will still die. Often.

Sep 10	comment	Can I play Diablo III with one disc, two different battle.net accounts and two computers? @Devin: Like I said, you can install D3 wherever you want using the CD you just can't play it at all without having a Battle.net account that has the game activated on it. D3 is an always-online game. You will be able to play it with the trail code, though obviously only with whatever restrictions are on a trial account (I honestly don't know).
