Do I need to launch steam everytime to play Football Manager 2012 on OS X? Click Steam -> Go Offline to go into offlinemode, You still need steam client on your mac, but you can now play while you're away from the internet. |

How big is the Portal 2 download from Steam? There are multiple versions of the steam engine, and the 7.6 gb includes an update to the steam engine, I believe these various engine versions are kept side by side, so the 7.6 gb will apply even if you already have Half Life 2 or L4D. |

Lasers! How do they work? I don't know if targets would need to have any such maximum. Not having such a maximum would make lasers devastatingly effective, perhaps. I haven't observed any "inexplicable lack of damage" to non-shielded aliens yet, so perhaps I haven't tried enough to reach such maximums. |
