Borderlands: what What is this gun that wipes everything out!?

PlayedI played online for the first time over the weekend, and I saw a guy using some sort of gun that wiped absolutely everything out. Everything! He even killed the Rakk Hive after about 5 shots.!

Played online for the first time over the weekend and have mixed feelings about the whole experience.

It is more fun. Quite simply running around with others and fighting against harder and more numerous baddies is more ofI saw a challenge and therefore better.

There are inequalities that make the funguy using some sort of gun that wiped absolutely everything out. Everything! He killed the game disappearRakk Hive after about 5 shots.

  • I picked up an artifact shield. Gives me something like 217871236 of shield strength. I seem to be invincible when I use it. That's rubbish. I've changed back to my old shield just so that I don't feel like a cheat when I play with others - skill over cheating is better everytime!

Well, there are my thoughts, but the question is: what on earth was that gun? And surely in the DLC's it's not as effective as against level 50 baddies.What on earth was that gun?
