The reason for this is that combo strategies in games like magic the gathering are reliant upon the ability to search your deck for the cards you need reliably, and this isn't necessarily possible in hearthstone. Cleared up confusing; seemed like he was saying taunt cards sacrificed defensive power for offensive strength, which wasn't his intent. Now the ambiguity is gone.
