I usually do the upper athmosphere report when in transit to LKO, I tend to have a pause between reaching 70km and orbit circularization phase where this is doable, too. | |
Jan 21, 2014 at 15:01 | comment | added | Mołot | EVA report from upper atmosphere was my huge success. It's hard, but doable. Trick is to make a ballistic flight and EVA on the top of it. If you time it right, and go the same direction Kerbin goes, you can have up to 30 seconds of low enough wind to keep Kerbal on ladder. For the lower atmosphere, you can EVA when on parachutes. | |
