Mar 14, 2014 at 11:08 comment added Wipqozn @PanicBomb: I've seen some users report victory doesn't always do it either. Maybe there's a random chance of it happening? Either way I've edited my answer to reflect this. I've also added in a section about an item I recently find which will increase your max HP in hollowed form.

Mar 14, 2014 at 4:46 comment added Cloudy I've now also just gotten my humanity back after successfully invading someone for the Princess Bell covenant. Maybe any sort of co-op/PvP has a chance to do it if you're victorious?
Mar 13, 2014 at 16:16 comment added Cloudy @Wipqozn Ah, I'm pretty sure that happened to me at least once, but since it didn't happen every time, I started to think I was imagining things.
Mar 13, 2014 at 13:57 comment added Wipqozn @PanicBomb supposedly you can become human again by helping other players. However it seems to be somewhat inconsistent.
Mar 12, 2014 at 17:25 comment added Cloudy @Martin It believe it prevents certain types of multiplayer interaction in that area for a certain amount of time. (Invasions, summoning signs, possibly things like Way of the Blue summons, etc)
Mar 12, 2014 at 17:13 comment added Martin What's the purpose of burning the Human Effigy at the bonfire then? I suppose it must have some use if the game offers to do it..

Mar 12, 2014 at 16:18 comment added Cloudy Yeah, I just figured that out for myself immediately after I posted this, in accordance with Murphy's Law of Stack Exchange. My previous experience with how reverse-Hollowing worked in the first Dark Souls is probably partially at fault for this confusion. Thanks for answering!
