That's assuming you are retraining the crew member in a tank of the same type (e.g. one medium tank to another medium tank). Those numbers increase to -40% and -20% respectively if you're retraining the crew member in a tank of a different type. Also, if 50% or 75% respectively would be higher, you'll get that instead. | |

Apr 14, 2011 at 19:43 | comment | added | camiloqp | It does serve in the sense that for example, if you were driving a Tier 7 Heavy Tank and just researched a Tier 8 by 'Free Training' your crew, they will just loose 10% of their previous training, e.g 5 Crew members from an IS Tank with 95% training will result on 5 Crew members trained for the IS-3 Tank with 85% for free :) Instead of paying 20k/crew member for just 75% training. Additionally the crew members retain their awards, medals and ribbons! | |
