Don't forget about the Nintendo DS and 3DS, which both have Start and Select ! (Edit: Never mind, just saw Grace Note's comment on the actual question.)

Apr 25, 2011 at 20:05 | comment | added | BlueRaja - Danny Pflughoeft | Wii has two secondary administrative buttons - 1 and 2. They become the primary buttons when the controller is turned on its side.
Apr 25, 2011 at 18:23 | comment | added | Grace Note♦ | @Charles In having 4 face buttons, 4 shoulder buttons, and two joystick buttons, it's very uncommon to actually use up every button these days (L3 gets shafted pretty often). I'm pretty sure at least some games I've played for the PS2 and PS3 do use the Select button, albeit for very isolated points.
Apr 25, 2011 at 18:21 | comment | added | Charles Boyung | @GraceNote - wondering if that's just for their backwards compatibility for PS1, because I don't remember using Select on any PS2 or PS3 games at all.
Apr 25, 2011 at 18:20 | comment | added | Grace Note♦ | @Anna Ah, that was it. It uses an arrow pointing in the opposite direction as "Start", makes the name fitting, but that's more of a 360 thing rather than a Start-Select thing in general (the originals had no distinguishing features other than their names and general positions).
Apr 25, 2011 at 18:18 | comment | added | Adam Lear♦ | @GraceNote On the XBox 360 it's called the "Back" button.
Apr 25, 2011 at 18:17 | comment | added | Grace Note♦ | @Charles The PS2 and PS3 do. The XBox 360 also has a secondary administrative button but I'm thinking it might use a different name.
