May 11, 2011 at 7:17 comment added badp @Bora what? 32 bit systems don't have "(x86)" in the path. That's what Simon meant by that.
May 11, 2011 at 6:31 comment added DrFish First, x86 cannot be removed since Steam is an 32 bit application which always installs itself in the path above. Second, Quake (up to Quake 3) are standalone games that just happen to be distributed via Steam. They don't integrate into Steamworks, so you could just as well run the game from their installation path. They won't start Steam automatically.
