If Murky is alive, then he is likely close enough to soak experience for being in the lane himself. If he is dead, then as far as I am aware (and Leoric testing in this comment suggests) that the moment you are dead you are considered out of combat and no longer get experience if something near where you were died. If the pufferfish kills any minions, then Murky would get normal experience for the kill. | |

Their strengths (and a huge part of their difficulty) come from being able to not necessarily push lanes by themselves, but to soak and let another one of their teammates leave their lane to go roam. At the moment, they are the only two heroes (Two? Four? I'll count TLV as 1) that can do this to more than one lane at a time. | |
