Attacking with 11 dragons (10 + 1) and 3 lightning spells to remove an AD tower would almost assuredly result in 3 stars. Since dragons do splash damage and have large HP pools, they can handle the CC troops when they encounter them. | |

I loured out the cc troops first (which were wizards) deployed my wizards around them, dropped a healing spell on the wizards and deployed a dragon. I then deployed dragons around the base and dropped healing spells where they were close together. It may have been better to deploy the dragons in a couple groups than all over the base. | |

I would go after as much as I could before the defense. But since you are in a war situation, it might be better to take the chance at the air defenses and get the town hall for more stars. | |
