Dec 1, 2017 at 13:03 comment added IllusiveBrian I'm not sure which DLC changed this (I think it was Way of Life), but characters can now get married at 14, and I believe are able to have kids then as well. This would bring the time required for the best case scenario down by 4 years, so Alice would be 44 when the grandson was 14 and ready to have children. Still extremely improbable, but it seems to be possible now.

Dec 18, 2015 at 16:14 comment added IllusiveBrian @JonathanDrapeau Marrying your grandmother is trivial, there's nothing stopping you from marrying a post-childbearing woman and a few religions have Divine Blood, which allows unrestricted marriage of family members. It's the having kids part that's tricky, as this answer explains.
Dec 18, 2015 at 15:54 comment added SMeznaric I read the question as "is it possible to marry my grandmother and have children with her". OP can clarify if that's not what he meant, but seems like otherwise the answer is trivial.
Dec 18, 2015 at 15:52 comment added Jonathan Drapeau Marrying and having children isn't linked in anyway, this answer the question but focus too much on children... focus on the grandma!
Dec 18, 2015 at 15:36 comment added Eric Good reasoning, although it doesn't preclude you from marrying your grandmother and having kids with someone else who isn't her.
Dec 18, 2015 at 14:42 comment added Laf Are there any mods that changes either the minimum age before being able to marry, or the maximum age that a woman is fertile? Maybe this is what this reddit user was refering to?
