COMPLETE EDIT (since nobody understands what I'm saying): I have downloaded the game "Undertale" on the Linux Steam client using this method:

https://github.com/dotfloat/steam-appmanifestthis method.

However, Steam recognizes that the game does not run natively on Linux and will not allow me to start "Undertale" via a custom launch with Wine.

Is there a workaround that, for example, tricks the Linux Steam client into thinking that "Undertale" does run natively on Linux so that I can open "Undertale" through the Linux Steam client?

ALSO: I am currently using the Windows Steam client through Wine; I am writing this because I DO NOT want to use the Windows Steam client.

So, I was getting tired of having to open the Windows version of Steam through Wine in order to launch Undertale.

COMPLETE EDIT (since nobody understands what I'm saying): I found a way to forcehave downloaded the download for Windows gamesgame "Undertale" on the Linux Steam client using this method:

https://github.com/dotfloat/steam-appmanifest

However, but I still don't have the option available to start the game through Steam, and if I try through the downloads page then it'll only say recognizes that the game'sgame does not availablerun natively on my platformLinux and will not allow me to start "Undertale" via a custom launch with Wine.

Is there a workaround to this? Maybe something along the lines of tricking Steam into thinking that, for example, tricks the game is a Linux native binary or tricking Steam client into thinking that it's"Undertale" does run natively on Linux so that I can open "Undertale" through the WindowsLinux Steam client?

EDITALSO: I've used this methodI am currently using the manual wayWindows Steam client through Wine; I am writing this because I DO NOT want to downloaduse the game so far: https://github.com/dotfloat/steam-appmanifestWindows Steam client.
