Oct 10, 2016 at 15:20 | comment | added | user126536 | that's a good question, I record at 2560 x 1600 with all settings turned up to ultra/epic etc, i get a delay when i hit manual record because i use external drives that sometimes sleep when not used. once the drive wakes up recording is smooth, i'm using i7 intel cpu with 16gb ram and gtx 690 graphics card. i haven't bothered with the background recording features of shadowplay much to avoid using unnecessary resources, but i think it's a great idea, because loads of times when i wanted to hit manual record i wish i could have recorded things from 5 minutes earlier | |
