I want to be able to use more weapons in Team Fortress 2 — just normal. I am looking for gameplay features of said weapons, not looking for special qualitiespure cosmetics. 

How can I get weapons that I currently don’t have? The goal is to be able to use the gameplay features of said weapons, not getting pure cosmetics.

Official Wiki describes all the methods in detail, but doesn't really compare them, and it might not be that obvious which way is better.
