You have effectively said that the correct way to sticky jump is to run, jump, crouch and detonate a sticky (i.e. the exact same mechanic as rocket jumping, but with a stick bomb). DrFish has contrarily said that you should jump first, and then detonate the sticky bomb in mid-air (as oppose to simultaneously jumping and detonating). Which is the correct method? Which will result in me travelling further/faster? | |
Jun 27, 2014 at 14:04 | comment | added | Zibbobz | On a good sticky jump, using crouching and timing it right, you should be able to shoot clear across from one battlement to the other on 2Fort with just one sticky. Another good testing ground is Badlands second point. If you can sticky jump from the set of stairs leading up to the house all the way to the spire with just one sticky, you're doing it right. More impressive, though less useful, is with two stickies strafing AROUND the spire and onto the enemy battlements. | |
