Feb 14, 2012 at 16:19 comment added murgatroid99 @badp No. The player goes through the portal, and then shoots the portal at a wall. The portal projectile never goes through a portal.
Feb 14, 2012 at 16:15 comment added badp @murgatroid99 Isn't that what "shoot a portal through another portal" is all about?
Feb 14, 2012 at 15:54 comment added murgatroid99 @badp If you watch the slo-mo carefully, the player goes through the portal, fires the portal gun, and then goes back through the portal into the place they just fired at. If they had fired a portal through another, they would not have ended up where they did.
Feb 14, 2012 at 15:47 comment added badp ...so what is it that happens at 10.00 seconds? From the slow-mo it seems like portal through portal.
Feb 14, 2012 at 15:07 comment added murgatroid99 @badp I don't think that was the kind of thing they were asking for.

Feb 8, 2012 at 16:45 comment added Xkeeper Narbacular Drop (an earlier portal-based game from the pre-Valve team) actually features this mechanic as a feature.
Feb 8, 2012 at 14:54 comment added murgatroid99 @Slothsberry in game, those do not act like portals from the player's point of view, so they are not relevant to the question.
Feb 8, 2012 at 13:53 comment added Chris Bye what about Linked portal doors?
