Monster companion's What effect do monster companions have on target time and stars rating effect on drops in FFXIII-2?

I've got 2 questions. Firstly, how is the monster's strength calculated in theThe target time formula? I mean the monster of the player's party. However, you've got 3 monsters. Is the hightest stat of one of em used? Lets say you have a medic with 90 magic, a sent with 50 attack and a rav with 60 att. I know the formula for target time but do only the 90 magic points of the medic matter for the monster's part or it is different? This would mean the other 2 monsters doesnt matter? That would mean it doesn't matter if u take 2 weak or as strong monsters beside the medic for the target time? I don't know. Maybe, it's calculated that way. The 1/3 strenght if u have 3 or 1/2 with 2 of the monsters which are then sumed up to the final strenght whichbattle is then used for the formula we know? I really don't know it. I hope someone else know more. Actually, I'm trying to get through the gamedetermined in part by holding back myyour party's power as much as possible because the regular battles are so short and easy. It's just more enjoyable this way but it's really hard to get 5 stars ratings this waystrength, sometimes it's even impossible. However i think the target time formula is good but u can't say it's perfect which leads to my second question. The effect of the battle ratingyou can have up to the drop rate. 5 Stars rating gives u +200 drop (chance?) on normal and rare drops i guess but what's the matter with 4 or less stars? There was a effectthree monster companions in FFXII but i really dont know it here but i would guess 4 stars will grant u nothingyour paradigm pack. The reason for my suggestion is simply How does the big fat yellow +200% on drops u'll get with 5 stars on u're screen and there is simply nothing with less written there. I hope i'll find some answers here (: I would't mind advice on my venture to get 5 stars ratings with a low lv group either, if anyone had some additions (: I've already thought about giving serah some exp to getcomposition of your paradigm pack affect the sab roleparty's overall strength for devall deprotes, would help a lot i guess and more elemantal variations to exploit the monster's weakness and to give noel double attack too means easier fights though >.> There is nothing that i hate more than zerging down monsters in oerba with feuga and double sttack spam D:

P.s I'm sry for any gramma or spelling mistakes written down here.purposes of determining target time?

What effect do monster companions have on target time?

The target time of a battle is determined in part by your party's strength, but you can have up to three monster companions in your paradigm pack. How does the composition of your paradigm pack affect the party's overall strength for the purposes of determining target time?
