Mar 28, 2012 at 15:32 comment added astryad I agree with peacedog on Kog. Using a classic AD build on him (IE, PD, LW) is really effective. The innate boost of attack speed on his Q and range increase from his W makes him deadly with an AD kit.
Mar 28, 2012 at 14:38 comment added peacedog That's my precise point; IE is NOT a bad way to spend money on Kog. I know, I've done it. I see it on streams all the time. Kog is very weird; no carry is quite like him (Teemo can build in several different ways but his lack of range makes building "traditional" carry make less sense, even with blind). Kog, without question, has the most to consider when deciding to build it. There are other ways to build him that work great (on hit, e.g.). But his steroid is great both for the insane extra magic damage and the extra range.

Mar 26, 2012 at 18:13 comment added Bravo840 Feel free to disagree, I acknowledged that there would be a difference of opinion and builds in my answer. "Please keep in mind that there are a huge number of champion builds out there with different focuses and an ever changing metagame." I am trying to focus on WHY IE is or is not good on different champions. Anyone can build it but how it compares to the other ways you can spend your money is what is important.
Mar 26, 2012 at 18:11 comment added peacedog Disagree on Kog. One of his huge strengths is versatility. His abilities are all useful without a single point in AP. Traditional AD carry builds work well on him because his W dramatically increases attack range in addition to adding the extra damage. I wouldn't say it's the best build on him; one great thing about Kog is you can decide that in game.
