Dec 3, 2012 at 12:18 | comment | added | user1978 | Lee Sin doesn't scale well into the lategame because 1. he is susceptible to crowd control effects 2. his base health and damage scaling is lower than for champions like Jax, Irelia or Olaf and 3. his main source of damage is physical against which opponents will always build resistances as protection against AD carrys. In summary, he is less tanky than other bruisers so he is less effective as a tank and over time will also do less and less damage due to more and more armor on the opponents. | |

But it's also about energy/mana (he can "burst" 4 abilities, then one more about once every 5 seconds) and whether they're able to influence multiple targets. All of his abilities (except Tempest) are single target only, so depending on the team fight he might perform worse compared to other champions. In comparison, early on fighting only one or two champions, he's able to use all his abilities greatly impacting all enemies nearby. | |
