I have a problem with the "new technic launcher." When I try to play online, Minecraft launches but the launcher gets stuck on "Installing Assets 0%" or "Installing Assets 99%" but Minecraft works just fine. Then, when you try to play OFFLINE with the new launcher... "Error"

"Error downloading a file for the following pack: {whatever modpack I try to launch}"

"Failed to download {file it needs to download}"

"Please consult the modpack author."

Of course, here's the last attempt in the console:

The old launcher has a problem offline too, but this question is about the new one.

Is there a quick way to fix this problem? If not, is there a way to manually insert the assets or libraries?

Yes, you should, because the question is off-topic as tech support for modded minecraft. – pppery Jul 14 at 17:37

I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because it is about technical support for a modded version of Minecraft. – Joachim Jul 14 at 18:45

Sadly you can't because the launcher can not be played offline because of Mojangs Terms of Services Agreement the Technic Modpack Creators where forced to make people authenticate because people where using offline lan without an account. Although their are still Offline versions of the Technic launcher I will not be giving any links because they are illegal according to the Mojang TOS
