Due to excessive use of spawn boxes, too many wild pixelmon are walking around in my local game. This is slowing down the game to a crawl.

Is there an operator command to kill them easily and get the game back in a playable state?

Version is Forge 1.7.

  • This may not exactly do what you wanted, but there is a command "/freeze" that will cause all Pixelmon in the world to stop moving (use the command again to unfreeze them). It doesn't kill the excessive entities, but without them moving around it may free up resources to correct the problem. – Trent Hawkins Dec 20 '15 at 13:20

I assume Pixelmon are registered as standard entities. If this is true, you can run /kill @e to kill all entities in the world.

Minecraft 1.7 does not have the @e selector. – aytimothy May 26 '15 at 9:05
  • I tried this before posting the question and it didn't seem to work. So I should probably upgrade to 1.8? – flup May 26 '15 at 17:00
  • As you can see above, someone brought it to my attention that the answer I posted is for 1.8 commands. There isn't really a reason to not update, unless you have a particular mod you want to use or a feature that you don't want in your server. – jm13fire May 26 '15 at 18:07
  • Updating from 1.7 to 1.8 listed a couple block types as no longer known, in particular flowing lava and the pokedex. But after that, the command worked like a charm. Thanks! – flup May 26 '15 at 19:47
  • No problem. I can't help with the block types as I'm not actually a Pixelmon player, but I'm glad it worked. – jm13fire May 26 '15 at 20:37

I think you can only do so if you install a mod extra commands , including the command type; It's my supposition.

Or you 'll have to recreate the world , or start a new one.

You could create a new one and move buildings with outside editing programs.
