In Borderlands, when you are low on health and there are lots of enemies, a dramatic Indian-sounding theme music comes on, with male vocals, drums and possibly a sitar.

Here is a video with the music, which starts at 1:49:

Does anyone know the name of that track? I can't find it online.

  • Most complete listing I can find: borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Soundtrack. If it's actually a full song, and not just a short sound effect, then there's a good chance it's on that list. I'd be surprised if it wasn't just a short effect, though. – DCShannon Jun 2 '16 at 0:39
  • Might take a look at this as well: kotaku.com/5945021/… – DCShannon Jun 2 '16 at 0:41
  • I didn't realize it was just for when you are fighting Skags. :/ – Thom Blair III Jun 2 '16 at 0:46
  • Should I add an audio clip or just delete the question? – Thom Blair III Jun 2 '16 at 1:26

@Timelord64 That meta is about identifying a game based on the music. Here, we already have the game, but just want to know the music. This is not a game identification question. Obviously having the music helps, but if you want to say that it is required you're going to have to find a better meta. – DCShannon Jun 2 '16 at 2:35

I just found it.

The song is "Fighting off the Skags" by Raison Varner.

I found it here on Google's listing for Borderlands: Original Soundtrack

I asked Raison what type of music this was based on and he replied the vocals were Tuvan Throat Singing:
