Is it possible to make the background transparent without any mods? You can do this via chat settings but you the text will also be more transparent. So is there a way to this via texture pack or something like that?

I wasn't aware that you could achieve this by using a texture pack, however, you can use a mod called TabbyChat to make your chat background transparent (I'm pretty sure). I've used TabbyChat with the Cosmic Client, and it provided a transparency option. I hope this helps!

Yes i could make you a custom texture pack for that i need to know your email if you have one and i can sed it to you double click the zip to download and then double click the zip code on your desktop and it should turn into a file the put that file in your textures folder and it should pop up in the textures area in the settings menu. Ok if you want me to do this respond to this comment it might take me a while.

This is not how Arqade works, I'm afraid. – Frank Aug 6 '18 at 22:57

Yea I'm with Frank. Just tell us how to do it and we'll all be fine. – Erram Aug 6 '18 at 23:03

Hi NextGenYT, welcome to Arqade! To expand on what Frank and Erram state: We're a bit different to a forum: answers should contain information publicly rather than direct people to private requests, as we want our answers to be useful to more than one person. If you could describe the steps one needs to take to make the texture pack (even just the few lines that need editing!), that would be much more helpful. :-) – Robotnik Aug 6 '18 at 23:55

Also: if you do feel like making the texture pack, you could upload it to a public source (like say, Planet Minecraft), and then Edit your answer with the texture pack link :-) – Robotnik Aug 6 '18 at 23:56
