I'm trying to make an adventure map for a boss fight in Minecraft 1.13.2. I spent a lot of time making a custom mob, and after I did that I went looking for a command that would detect when the said mob dies, then triggering redstone or other command blocks.

But I can't find out how to do that. I've seen other videos with armor stands riding mobs and minecarts and other stuff, but I want a couple of command blocks from which I just copy and paste in the command.

  • You mean a mob added by a mod? There should be a statistics for that. If not, then that's an issue with the mod. – Fabian Röling Mar 15 at 1:28
  • No not a mod, I mean a mob added in with commands with like effects and glowing and a custom name and such. – A_Minecrafter_lol Mar 15 at 1:34
  • Umm..... I hope ANYONE will have an answer... or someone will actually KNOW someone with the answer, I have done at least 3 hours of searching and I could not find ANYTHING so someone PLEASE have the answer!!!! – A_Minecrafter_lol Mar 15 at 3:33
  • You're probably searching too specifically. If you give a mob an effect, it didn't suddenly change its type, why would it? A bunny with levitation is still a bunny and can be killed like any other bunny. – Fabian Röling Mar 15 at 5:51
