I'm currently playing around with Minecraft functions (as in the ones put in datapack folders that are called with /function); however, I'm doing something like a PVP data-plugin, so I want to be able to do things like specify how many teams to create, where to put players, etc.

I can't seem to find on the wiki anything about calling /function with parameters after it, just /function <namespace>:<path>, nothing like /function <namespace>:<path> <argument-1> <argument-2> ....

Is there any way (in vanilla Minecraft) to have functions take arguments? I have workarounds (such as a increase-teams and decrease-teams function) but in the general case, having arguments would make things a lot nicer.
