The minecraft java edition launcher got an update recently, but no matter what it wouldn't update for me, so i decided to reinstall the game to see if that'd work, but now it just pops a window about a minute after trying to open it that says exactly "Unable to start the Minecraft Runtime Enviroment. This is most likely caused by a corruption. Please try to reinstall Minecraft." and i swear, i tried to reinstall minecraft itself, java, exclude some files for settings for both java and minecraft, nothing had worked.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue??

EDIT: While there are many posts that ask this same question with possible solutions replied to them, i have tried all of them of any post of the same question i've read, so here's the clarification of what i've done so far:

-Removed everything java from my computer and reinstalled the latest version.
-Tried running the launcher as administrator.
-Reinstalled minecraft itself after relocating my .minecraft file somewhere else.
-Restarted my OS multiple times after every one of the previous steps.
-Tried running an alternative launcher.

  • While it is the same issue that i'm having, i've tried both of the possible solutions people gave to that post (alternative launcher and running as administrator) and i'm still facing the same error. – MattFright Jun 26 '19 at 16:16
