I’m new to how to use dolphin and I don’t know much about what to change. But the speed limit is what seems to be affect my experience with games. The speed limit at 90 is good for some games but it is still A bit too slow. And unlimited makes the game better but everything is too fast, the speech is too fast making it impossible to understand what characters are saying sometimes. How can I get the 100% option? The only games I’m playing are GameCube games.

  • The Wiki is useful for troubleshooting problems regarding specific games, as do other emulator Wikis. – Hari5000 May 27 at 10:16

From https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-increase-fps-in-dolphin:

Once Dolphin is running on its own, you can adjust the graphics settings by clicking the "Graphics" tab in the main emulator menu. In the window that appears, you can toggle enhancements and other visual features, as well as adjust aspect ratios and resolutions. Turning off features such as V-Sync and Anti-Aliasing, in addition to lowering the display resolution can help to increase FPS (though this may come at the cost of visual fidelity). Changing the backend from DirectX to OpenGL may help in certain games.

and also:

it may also help to adjust the size of the window the game is running in. In Dolphin, an increase in FPS often follows when the screen size is reduced, as the emulator can render the game at a lower resolution.

With emulators, it's often a case of trial and error, since every computer and every game is different.
