My friend and I are making a Minecraft map and we wanted a villager to walk to a specific area, further in the map a zombie and many more. After hours of research the best we found was a planet Minecraft page, but the command didn’t work for both of us. We have looked for over 5 hours now, so I came here to ask. I have only tried the following execute command:

/execute @e[type=*chosen entity*,c=1*] ~ ~ ~ tp @e[r=1,c=1] ~0.1 ~ ~ -90 0,

However it didn’t work. We tryed the entity to entity post on this side, but that also didn’t work. Also teleporting the entity is also not something we want. I hope there is a smoother way of doing it. I hope some people could help us with our problem.

Does this answer your question? How to make mobs walk to other entities? If it doesn't, you might want to consider making a plugin for it example. – Nick S Jul 31 at 20:39
  • Thxx for the look into it. But we are trying to use as least entitys possible, so entity to entity could be a second choice if it’s not possible. And making a plugin wouldn’t work for it (already asked a friend and he said that that wouldn’t work on the world were making, idk why) – Piet Molens Jul 31 at 20:54

Can you post what commands you've tried? I can't help with them, but questions like this are better received if you can provide evidence of what websites you've been to and what commands you've tried. – Kyle Rone Jul 31 at 20:54
  • /execute @e[type=*chosen entity*,c=1*] ~ ~ ~ tp @e[r=1,c=1] ~0.1 ~ ~ -90 0. This and just tping the entity. But it didn’t work – Piet Molens Jul 31 at 20:55

I can't help you with your problem but I know something that will. A youtuber called EnchantedTiger. He posted a video named: Minecraft: How to make a path for villagers [1.16+]. It's a 12 minute video and he really goes into detail. I too use it in my minecraft maps.

Hope that helps
