So I was playing a survival world on the latest snapshot and my friend wanted to play hypixel so I had to change back to 1.8 And we played. When I was done playing I went into my old world forgetting that I was in 1.8. And I immediately exited out ,but it was too late. When I went back to the latest snapshot it said I can no longer play the old world at the moment :(. Can anyone help?? I really want my world back.

    This doesn't make sense to me. When you loaded it in 1.8 did the world load in? That seems impossible since the world format has changed. – Penguin Apr 4 at 3:04
