The Vacuum is a pickup item that pulls all experience gems lying on the ground towards the player. The Pentagram has a chance of destroying any items on screen when activated.
If the Pentagram activates while a Vacuum is in effect, will the Pentagram destroy the attracted experience gems before they reach the player?
From personal experience, The Pentagram triggering can stop a Vacuum, if all the experience gems drawn by the Vacuum are already on-screen when the Pentagram triggers.
A.k.a the Vacuum makes each and every experience gem on the ground at the time of the activation, draw itself individually to the player, it's actually an effect on the gems than on the player.
The Pentagram can "kill" a gem before it touches the player even if they're mid-flight, but there is no "Vacuum" effect on the player themselves, and doesn't kill any gems that are mid-flight but too far away to be affected by the Pentagram.
