The luremaster and mariner skills in Stardew concern crab cages (they produce no waste or do not use bait)

But in multiplayer, how do they work? do only the crab cages placed by the player with the bonus have that bonus, or only having a player in the server with that bonus makes all crab cages with the bonus now?
