To prevent the download from pausing while you're playing WoW, do the following in the Blizzard App Click the Blizzard icon near the upper-left corner. Click Settings Click Game Install/Update on the left side. Uncheck "Pause updates when I launch a game." You may need to scroll down to see this option. Click the Done button in the lower-right.

Along with the two forums you linked, this Battle Net forum discussed this as well. While it doesn't contain any information directly from Blizzard on this, a user gathered that this is more than likely due to a connection blip from the server. From what I've gathered there is only one very small window that the Hearthstone client sends the opponent ...

It's not implemented yet, apparently Blizzard has plans to implement it "soon", which is likely to be sometime between now and the end of times (i.e Soon ™). Especially since this post is already over three years old. I"ve also been wishing for this simple functionality for years...

The option to appear invisible was anounced back in 2012 but was missing from Battle.net for a long time and a 2014 tweet mentioned that it wouldn't be included for some time. New Update: It's Here: As of October 2017 the option to appear offline is implemented in the beta version of the Blizzard Battle.net app and will come to the standard version later. (...

You said you disabled 3D acceleration in your VM, but you need it enabled to run programs that use OpenGL or Direct3D (such as most games).

You don't, unfortunately. The Battle.net desktop application does not have any support for what Blizzard refer to as "legacy games". This means that Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion (amongst many others) are not available for installation or management through the Battle.net desktop application and can only be installed by logging ...

If you know the exact battletag you can visit the official site: http://battle.net/d3/ There you will find a nice diablo oriented display of all the important and more or less unimportant stats including but not limited to: Equipment, followers, playtime and enemies killed. However if you don't know the exact battletag you can visit the semi official site ...

The recently released Battle.net Desktop App now includes the ability to chat with your friends if they are logged on to that same app, or any of WoW, SCII, D3, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm or Overwatch.

1) Launch Battle.net 2) Leave the window with the error message open 3) Launch Battle.net again It's a strange workaround, but it worked for me every time so far.

While the answer given by Wondercricket was true when posted, there's actually another reason why this is happening more frequently now. In October 2017 Blizzard added "Appear Offline" mode for players - partly to counter queue sniping. When you choose to appear offline, opponents will now only see "Your Opponent" as their opponent's name.

Starcraft 1 (Or legacy Starcraft) does not have a Battle.net registration included to play on local. As Frank said, we are not lawyer, so we won't answer legal questions. However, you can play with the same CD-KEY on two different computers in multiplayer via LAN (TCP-IP). For the installation issue, you just have to download it once, install on both ...

When you buy a "physical" copy of a Blizzard game, you will still register it with your Battle.net account with a CD key and this will allow you to download the game via the Battle.net. In the instance of World of Warcraft, you're still going to be downloading updates that have occurred since the discs were made after installing from a physical copy anyway. ...

The only way is to max your friends list out so you can't get more requests. The max is 100. So get 100 friends on there and just delete one when you want to add one. Wish there was another way as it's annoying. The only other way is to get a WoW account and use the addon BadBoy to auto decline them all while in WoW. source: http://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/...

Yes, the launcher is required to run at least some Blizzard games, according to this post by a Blizzard employee: When you run a Desktop Shortcut for some of our games - currently Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, and the Warlords of Draenor Alpha - they will require the Desktop App to run. However, that post is a couple years old. According ...

Battle.net updates or installs one game at a time. If you're trying to play Hearthstone while another game is updating you'll have to wait for that update or force the launcher to prefer Hearthstone instead. You can enforce the Hearthstone update by clicking the arrow/triangle button on the right side of the loading bar. By doing so the launcher pauses the ...

You can use the search field at the top right on the official site: Europe: http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/ US: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/ What you need to do is search for the complete battletag there, i.e. Proplayer#1872. This will let you look at their characters and items.

Currently (as unfortunate as this is), there is no option to appear offline to friends which are added to the battlenet list. The only option is to remove them and add them on again later, but this does not really do the job as other networks like skype or the like do it.

Blizzard has released Starcraft 1 for free. If you download that version (you'll probably need to login into your blizzard account in order to do so), you'll be allowed to login into battle net without any problems.

Steam (just in case) You can enable "Display Steam URL address bar when available" on Steam > Settings > Interface: After that you will be able to see the game ID on the store page (in this case, 236870): uPlay If you have a game shortcut on your desktop or start menu, this will contain the uPlay Game ID on the "uplay://launch/ID/0" format (in this case ...

If you're playing on another regions server, you friends will not be able to see what game you are playing, however you will appear to be online in the launcher (and they will be able to message you). So if you're playing on European servers, and your friends all play on US servers, they will just appear as online (or busy/away if that's what they set ...

Progress is separated by regional server for Blizzard games on Battle.net. So you can play the game on US or EU servers but progress and purchases within the game are only available on the server you bought them on or progressed on. You should be able to contact Blizzard to move your account's purchases and progress to another server.

You can't remove the games from the sidebar, but you can reorder them. Either drag and drop the games to the order that you want or right click and select move up / move down.

Blizzard recently introduced the Battle.net launcher. This means you cannot switch accounts in any of the blizzard games by simply clicking a "logout" button in-game. You basically have to Leave the game completely and then you have to switch accounts in the Battle.net Launcher.

As noted, you do not need to buy the client separately. It can be downloaded for free with the battle.net application. An important distinction, however, is that Warlords of Draenor is NOT standalone: you must own the base game (World of Warcraft, located here on Blizzard's store: https://eu.battle.net/shop/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft ) to play it. There ...

It is not possible. You can only see what your friends are playing. So by looking at what they play you can deduce what games they have.

I had to enter winecfg and change the library dbghelp from "disabled" to "native" and it opened right up. Unfortunately neither of those solutions fixed the issue I had the same situation when I tried the override in that battle.net.exe would still fail because I did not have the native dbghelp.dll installed. Using winetricks on my dedicated battle....

As far as Diablo 3 goes, there's virtually no benefit to using a physical installation media. It has the tiny Battle.net launcher on it, and that's it. However, if your connection sucks as much as mine does, and you don't want to spend a week downloading D3 (or months, if you have a transfer cap!), I recommend finding someone who's already installed the ...
