The world of Heroes of the Storm -- that is, all of the various realms in which the battles take place -- is collectively known as the Nexus, a vast interdimensional storm.
Most of what we know about the Nexus is explained by Uther to Raynor during the tutorial: it periodically "grabs" heroes from other realms, including Azeroth, the Koprulu Sector, and ...
Blue Eye: When you are in a bush and enemy team doesn't see you.
Red Eye: When you are in a bush or cloaked (Nova/Zeratul or Ally Tyrande's Shadowstalk) and enemy team sees you through abilities like Tyrande's Shadowstalk, Clairvoyance talent, Tassadar's Oracle or similar.
Via a Heroes of the Storm wiki:
Gold is used to purchase skins, mounts, and permanent access to heroes.
Playing a match (non-vs-A.I.) gives you 20 gold, or 30 gold if you win. A stimpack increases this to 50 and 75 per match, respectively.
Winning a vs-A.I. match gives you 10 gold.
Reaching player levels 2 and 4 gives you 1000 gold each.
No, not at all. They are just a way to show appreciation towards a player you felt performed very well.
Specifically here you can see the blog post where Blizzard introduced it, and under "Commending a contender," they describe it as a virtual "thumbs-up".
The Cannons on Blackheart's Bay always follow the same pattern: Gate, Gate Turrets, Inner Turret, Healing Fountain, and then the Keep itself. (Connecting walls are never explicitly targeted, but they may be destroyed due to splash damage)
The cannon barrage will always target the outermost set of keeps, and will go Middle -> Top -> Bottom.
The long and ...
As of now, you get XP from following actions:
Soaking XP from lanes.
Killing enemy heroes.
Taking mercenary camps
Destroying enemy forts and towers
Doing map objectives (not entirely sure, will confirm ASAP and edit answer)
On Blackheart's Bay and Cursed Hollow, you won't get experience for picking up doubloons and paying and picking up tributes. Same goes ...
Assassins are high damage heroes, they are meant to quickly kill another hero. They often have some method to chase down or 'stick to' an enemy. They often have low health and poor survivability, especially if they are caught as they tend to have fewer escapes.
Warriors are the tanky ones. Their job is to distract and absorb damage, they can jump into the ...
The answer is the first one.
a total amount of hp Li Li can restore now equals to 7200 (assuming there are 2 or more heroes being healed)
On 2nd screenshot, I took the talent and then used the ultimate. You can see both Malfurion and Li Li is healed by 150 per jug.
According to a discussion on the official Heroes of the Storm forums,
Mounts don't have hitboxes, only the hero riding them does.
Related, but thought I'd add it anyway: mounts are invisible while cloaked, so the size of your shimmer for the opponent is also unaffected by your mount choice.
You just can't, it is not implemented.
At the end of the game, you can say "gg", it's the only word you can say in all chat and only at the end of the game.
As @Xrylite said, it is an automatic trigger, and it works even if the game says [Allies].
Also, always at the end, your emotes will be visible to everyone ( press y or z to use the emotes )
Not as much as other MOBA's. While there is still a META forming in HotS, it's still not completely clear what kind of lanes are going to form game-to-game.
And because there are different maps, it adds a completely new complexity to the game that usually wasn't there before.
The general consensus from my experience playing the game is:
Assassin + support
When playing Nova I usually just keep her moving a bit back and forth. This works without problems, just make sure you click a bit further than where you'd want her to go, so there's no moment she's idle waiting for input. Just turn in time by issuing the next command.
S will just make your character stop and possibly auto attack as you've noticed already.
First some general advice:
A lot of players use "but my team is bad" as an excuse to cover for their own mistakes. Some of the top players can reach rank 1 in under 100 games because they know how to carry. Although HotS is a very team focused game, you will be amazed how much the skill of your own play affects your team. I'm currently rank 9 (SoloQ only) ...
Although, there is so much specific roles, Heroes of the Storm only have 4 main roles, which this roles have another ones (sub roles):
Assassin: Heroes that deal a lot of damage, specifically for killing enemy heroes.
Ganker: Heroes that have skills for start a fight, killing their objective and then escape faster, without being caught....
Based off this Reddit, it is the following:
Level | Color
100 | Green
200 | Teal
300 | Purple
400 | Red
500 | Yellow
Repeating over and over. You get additional gems on your portrait and
your portrait shape improves each cycle.
To give you an idea, this is what the borders look like:
According to the ...
You can only have three quests available at any given time.
A few things to note regarding these:
When "quest 4" would have come around, it does not erase an old quest to make room, you continue to have the three prior and none "queue" up.
Everyone is given a random quest each day, meaning that your friend and you could have got two completely different ...
The maximun team level for now is 30,
You can verify this by going to the shop try out a hero and using the second button from top right you can level up your "Team" until reaching the maximun of level 30.
In the endgame statistics, when you click on statistics you can see all players, when you right click on the specific player the third option counting from below will be the "Report" option there you can select one reason for the report and give a short explanation.
Report will be taken seriusly there are already some banned players for repeatly offending ...
I use this ability for map-specific harassment and I think that's the best way.
Is the enemy team trying to fight a merc camp? Throw some spiders in there for some extra damage. They won't leave the area for fear of resetting the merc camp. So your spiders will do serious damage.
Is the enemy team trying to collect a tribute? The damage from your spiders ...
Genji says: 身を捨てても、名利は捨てず
In ocidental letters it becomes this: mi o sutetemo myouri wa sutezu
The translation is: Even if I sacrifice my body, I will never sacrifice my honor
He says the same when selected in Overwatch.
Is stalling the game still a viable choice ? Should I rush the
structures instead ?
To clear up things initially: When you are able to and if you are in no danger of being punished, destroying structures is always the way to go, because
you gain a significant amount of XP which can be the difference of gaining a talent tier in time or not.
you deny you ...
I've analysed a replay and came to these preliminary conclusions.
TL;DR: I'd estimate 20% base damage/HP, with the other 80% coming from skulls.
Defense: golems have equal base HP (about 20% of its max HP for 100 skulls), and the rest of golem HP comes from an "pool" of HP, divided linearly based on number of skulls.
Attack: similar, with a small base ...
According to the July, 25, 2014 Patch Notes, this was added:
A kill streak meter has been added next to the in-game Hero portrait.
Notifications are displayed at the top of the screen when a player achieves kill streaks of 5, 10, 15, and 20.
Players’ nameplates now light up or catch fire to show off when they’ve achieved lengthy ...
Cooperative games earn you 10 gold if you win.
Quick match games earn you 20 gold with an additional 10 if you win.
The bulk of your gold is going to come from daily quests and hero/account level gold rewards.
According to Heroes Wiki:
...at which point the mercenaries will run to the nearest lane and spring into action for the team.
For example, on Cursed Hollow map:
Grave Golems (yellow) will push the side lanes
Knights (blue) will push mid lane
Siege Giants (green) will push side lanes
It's the number of hero takedowns your team had over the game.
In this example, my team killed the enemy team 20 times.
Note this won't be a perfect sum of the takedown columns for each team. That's because each hero gets credit for a takedown if they were in the area or did damage to that hero within a short time of that hero's death.
There's two answers to this question, depending on if you pick Mending Serpent(each attack gives a small heal to the target ally) at level 4.
I didn't pick Mending Serpent: You're on the right track. You want to put this on whoever is in range and will stay in range to get maximum use from it.
I picked Mending Serpent: Now you have to be more thoughtful ...
This was a new feature added in the Dec 15, 2015 patch to help identify which players are grouped together in a party.
Party Indicator Icons
New Loading Screen icons have been added to indicate which players queued together as a part:
Players in the same party will appear next to each other on loading screens.
Parties will be separated by ...
