A discontinued version of Minecraft developed by 4J Studios, for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and Wii U. Use [minecraft-bedrock-edition] for the updated version of the game or [minecraft-java-edition] for the PC version.
Minecraft Legacy Console Edition is the common term to collectively refer to several nearly identical and discontinued editions of Minecraft.
While console editions are very similar to the version seen on PC, the controls and user interfaces have been optimized for use with a controller. Main differences to the PC version can be seen on Minecraft Gamepedia.
