Mother 3 (also known as Earthbound 2) is a Japanese RPG made by developers Brownie Brown and HAL Laboratory for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) and published by Nintendo. Originally planned to be released on the cancelled 64DD console, the original 3D design was scrapped and in 2003, the 2D design that the finished game had began development. It was exclusively released in Japan during April 2006 and is the final entry in the Mother series.

The game features Lucas, a boy with psychic powers, and various other party members while they venture to stop a mysterious invading force from destroying the Nowhere Islands and the world. The game focuses on the theme of nature vs technology, where the once-natural landscape gradually is changed (for the better or for the worse) by technology introduced by an evil group called the Pigmasks. Even though the game was only introduced in Japan, an unofficial English fan translation was made in 2008 and was highly popular. Like its predecessor, Earthbound, it is widely known for its unique style, humor, and its large cult following.
