Do you also have the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch installed (separate from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch)?
If not, install it. One of its fixes is:
Dragonborn's changes to DragonActorScript.psc have now been properly
merged with the fixes done in the USKP. Dragon soul absorbtion is now
working 100% correctly.
According to the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch's mod ...
Solstheim is a big place with 8 Arcane Enchanters. There are even 3 in Raven Rock: Councilor Morvayn's house, Ravenrock Mine & Severin Manor.
My 1st thought would be to go to Tel Mithryn, where you also have ready access to supplies & training. Best of all, the door is never locked.
The Dremora merchant's inventory is levelled. He's a reliable source of Daedric gear, but that doesn't mean he gets it earlier than it would otherwise start showing up.
Daedric Armor is the best heavy armor in the game. It appears in leveled lists starting at level 48 (enchanted varieties at level 49). However, even after level 48, Daedric armor is twenty ...
Both Dawnguard and Dragonborn have new map areas added. When you start dealing with named vampire NPCs, that's Dawnguard (although there are a couple named vampires in the main game, but no major plots). If you traveled to Solstheim, that's Dragonborn. The DLC quests are independent of the main quests so you can't accidentally mix them up.
The Ebony Warrior will only appear once you have reached level 80. Once you're level 80, he will approach you if you're in any major city, not just Windhelm.
Upon reaching level 80 a mysterious warrior wearing a full suit of
ebony armor [The Ebony Warrior] will approach you in any major city and challenge you to a
duel at his Last Vigil. The quest ...
The Dremora merchants weapon stocks are levelled1. You would therefore expect Daedric items to start appearing regularly at level 48 for armour2 and level 46 for weapons3. Enchanted weapons and armour begin to appear one level after the base level mentioned above.
It is suggested in the first linked source that they can in some cases appear uncommonly up ...
There are seven Black Books in total. The wiki page gives these locations:
Epistolary Acumen - Found in Nchardak during the quest "The Path of Knowledge".
Filament and Filigree - Found in Kolbjorn Barrow during the quest "Unearthed".
The Hidden Twilight - Found in Tel Mithryn, next to the Staff Enchanter.
The Sallow Regent - Found in White Ridge Sanctum, ...
In general, each DLC adds content to the game and they can all be safely installed and played at the same time. The fact that some of the foes you'll face in the wilds of Solstheim are a little tougher than those on the mainland may encourage you to face the challenges of skyrim-dragonborn a little later.
I don't generally focus specifically on the main ...
No, there is simply no way to finish the quest without killing Miraak. Furthermore, there is no way to kill Hermaeus Mora (in the base game/DLC, at least).
However, I found this oddly specific mod that apparently allows you to do exactly what you've described in the question. The mod allows you to cast Bend Will on Miraak and team up with him against ...
The prerequisite quest for The Temple of Miraak is Dragonborn, which as you correctly suggest is triggered by reading the orders of the two random(ish) encounter Cultists who attack you in Skyrim. However, the prerequisite for the Dragonborn quest is not level related but requires your character to have started The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller for the ...
I had the same problem! I went into the "Sallow Regent" black book (and another one immediately after) to reset skills and change the power for sallow reagent. Struggled with trying to fix it for about an hour because my last clean save was 13 levels before.
Go into Sallow Regent. in lighted areas you should take no damage.
Go to a dark area. ...
The full list of trainers capable of serving as merchants is as follows:
All but one of the trainers at the College in Winterhold also sell various magical supplies; typically books related to their school, robes, and soul gems.

Drevis Neloren (Illusion)

The door prevents access to Neloth's staff enchanter and an arcane enchanter. It is possible to buy unenchanted staffs from Neloth and create your own staffs using the staff enchanter, but only if you prove useful to Neloth by completing a quest. This room also contains a Black Book titled The Hidden Twilight reading this will initiate ...
Just finish Miraak's questline, and you will get your souls back. There are no places where you could farm dragonsouls, without the chance that Miraak will steal them. However, the shouts you need for the questline will be unlocked without needing dragon souls.
A Reaver Lord at Brodir Grove is wielding it. Simply kill the Reaver Lord (or pickpocket him with the proper perk) in order to obtain the weapon.
Stormfang actually respawns with the enemy after a couple of days. This makes it possible for you to get several instances of it, or to get a new one if you lose it.
Here are some generic, "works for all system" fixes pulled from a more thorough answer here.
If you play on the PC, please refer to the referenced answer with multiple console command based solutions (paying off crime, changing faction, respawning/resetting NPC, etc.)
Go to a far away location (why? you want the area to be unloaded from ...
From what I've seen, it looks like you're only able to heal your horse while you are standing next to it, rather than riding it.
As for healing your dragon, based on the Healing Hands wikia page, it looks like it will work for your dragon mount, since dragons are not listed as exceptions.
It will not heal undead, atronachs, or Dwemer animunculi.
You need the Healing Hands spell. Or Heal other, or Grand Healing. Note that these spells only work on living followers, not undead or robots. If you have dawnguard, Heal Undead heals undead.
Protected Aka "I'm invincible"
But you should not worry, most non-quest followers are immune to death by normal enemies. They are protected, if they get ...
Completing this quest in favor of the Nords will provide you with the availability of four more favor quests, each offering a leveled amount of gold as reward. After completion of Retaking Thirsk, Kuvar will offer Heavy Armor training and Blacksmith services.
Completion in favor of the Rieklings gives no monetary or item rewards. After completion you will ...
The correct sequence is implied by the two previous sequences. In the chamber containing Ahzidal's Armor of Retribution there is a dual-function rune totem puzzle.
The first sequence, required to open the portcullis to allow you to retrieve the armour, is found by:
The second sequence, required to open both the door that locks behind you once you enter the ...
It means that you have one or multiple diseases.
I would try the following first to cure the disease:
Most diseases can be cured at a shrine to a Deity.
These shrines can be located in Hold Capitals, in Caves, or randomly in the landscape.
For example, in Whiterun, Shrines are located in the Temple of Kynareth,
the Hall of the Dead or the Statue of ...
The Beast Stone is one of 4 markers (though there are 5 in total) that need to be cleansed as a part of the main questline in the Dragonborn DLC. This is done with the Bend Will shout.
Once cleansed, all the people that are working on the stones will be freed, and you will also gain an ability from it. The Beast Stone in particular will allow you to summon ...
The Creation Kit is notorious for introducing "dirty" edits during mod-making, where an untouched part of the world gets added to the mod file. If a modder working from a non-English copy of Skyrim didn't clean their mod before release, this is the kind of thing dirty edits would do.
You can fix this by disabling all your mods one at a time (or better, by ...
It wasn't clear whether you have been attacked by cultists yet - if not just wait until you are attacked by cultists - in the next town you enter. That attack (which is easily defeated) will result in you coming in possesion of a note - and the existence of the ship at windhelm.
