Tapping the Information button on the purchase screen gave the fine print, including this:
Note: You can transfer your user data between different types of devices as long as you link Super Mario Run to your Nintendo Account. However, if you change device platforms, you will need to repurchase the game on the new platform to unlock all the content again.
There are at least two ways to defeat the Piranha Plants.
As Adeese stated, if you can pick up an invincibility star you can just walk or jump straight through them.
Most levels with Piranha Plants also contain enemies with shells, i.e. Koopa Troopas or Buzzy Beetles. If you jump, stomp or spin strike onto these, this will send the shell off along the ...
She plays identically to Mario, but unlike Mario, she gets defeated in one hit. Her special ability is converting some Toads to the player's side before the final tally in Toad Rally.

From this article it looks like hammers are used to remove Thwomps from the Kingdom Builder screen:
Two spots are taken up by Thwomps but those can remove them when you collect a hammer by playing the world tour.
This article states the same thing as above, but also mentions that after getting the Rainbow Bridge you can smash 3 more:
Now that we have ...
From playing the game myself, I've found that the Toad Houses do have a function. Every now and then, the Toads will randomly appear holding a coin outside their house. Tapping on this this will grant you one coin, this is true to the red house but I do not know about how many coins you get from the other coloured houses. It's not much of a bonus, but it can ...
Yes, it will. I purchased the upgrade on my iPad. When I ran Super Mario Run on my iPhone, after logging in to my Nintendo account, it not only synced the purchase but my progress (levels completed, coins, etc.) as well.
I don't know if it matters or not, but I use the same iTunes account and Nintendo account on both devices.
I have had the same question. Apparently, stomping on the paratroopers and koopas and seeing them going into their shell, is not a "defeat." The only way to kill them normally is if they are hit with another shell, or you have a Star active.
According to Polygon, Super Mario Run's "Worlds 1-6" unlock is a non-consumable purchase, as indicated by @Vemonus. While the app itself doesn't have an option to restore this purchase, you should go through the process of purchasing the unlock again. The application will show the following message:
You've already purchased this. Would you like to get it ...
They are found in the other levels of the game, past World 1. It depends on which levels you play. The other Toads you can get by buying the $10 upgrade, which includes Worlds 2-6, so you can get the other colored Toads.
It is indeed hard to find a source for this, but in general, I'd back up Reinhard's answer. Most levels in World Tour mode don't contain any random components as far as I can tell after playing the game quite a lot for the last week (collecting all coloured coins in the game).
However, I can report on one level that definitely has a random component: the ...
When you race against someone in Toad Rally, you are racing against a previous run of another player.
For example, you run a Toad Rally against a (random) player. When the run is over, the data from that run (when you jumped, the coins and items you collected, the number and color of Toads you got) is sent to Nintendo's servers. Later, I start a new Toad ...
As far as I know, this image is just supposed to be a reminder of how the kingdom was before it was destroyed, to save people who want it to be back how it was from having to get a screenshot of it from a new game.
No, when you purchase an item the amount of toads that you have is unaffected. The only thing that you need to buy these items are the coins collected in the levels. But when you have more toads, your town will level up and unlock more items to buy. Remember though, all of the buildings are just decorative, and only the special items have a purpose.
You can ...
From here, you will have access across different devices, as this would fall under the following category:
Bonus game levels
Thus, this in-app purchase would be considered a non-consumable, which is treated in the following way:
You buy these items one time, and you can transfer them to other devices that are associated with your Apple ID. If you lose ...
When buying items in your Kindgom, toads are a requirement rather than a currency. This means when it says you need 20 Red Toads and you have 30, after buying the item you will still have 30 Red Toads.
You can though lose toads through losing a Toad Rally game.
I've marked this as a community wiki post, because I think this will take multiple data points.
I've played on a mix of cellular and wifi since launch day. On cellular I've mostly played Toad Rally, which would naturally use much more network bandwidth. I've also done some shopping and read the notices/alerts several times. I've probably played about 3-4 ...
The Toads will appear if you do certain achievements like:
Consecutive wall jumps
Vaulting wall jump
Threading the ring
These actions will get you more Toads, and will help your coin count in the very end.
Assuming you all share a Google Play account, you only need to purchase one copy.
Nintendo has structured SMR such that you buy the game per platform, not per Nintendo account. This is also the reason you have to buy the game again if you wish to play cross-platform.
Usually, if you are switching Nintendo accounts on the game, you should have no issues. ...
According to this website: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/195777-super-mario-run/74774589
The max number of Toads is capped at 9999. On another note, the maximum number of Toad Rally Tickets is capped at 99.
To answer my own question, I had to buy the game twice. Each NNID holds its own DLC, I was not able to reuse this even though the accounts are linked together.
This is sort of what I expected, but not what I had hoped :)
If you buy the game, you will get more Toad rally tickets. (I have a Nintendo Account, and have linked it, so I have Toad.) They are a little hard to come by.
Ways you can earn Toad Rally Tickets:
Bonus Game - 1 every 8 hrs, if you are lucky.
Collecting all pink/purple/black coins in a level - 2 per type of coin
Completing a world - 10
Buying them from My ...
The Toads cheer whenever you do a "stylish move". Polygon posted a guide on how to do all of the stylish moves. Here's a list of all of the stylish moves you can do:
Consecutive Wall Jumps
Jump through the flaming ring
It looks like the real time number is displayed without modifiers. Purple coins DO count, (I believe 10). All coins are the same. The bonus score is calculated from the number of Toads you have. It is not random. The enemy level multipliers are added as you are destroying them. (For example, jumping on a Goomba. There are bonuses when you step on multiple ...
