Purchases are tied to an account, not a device. If you want to verify that you bought something on your Microsoft account, check your order history.

Your games are tied to your xbox live account. When you buy your new Xbox One, you just log in with your account and your games will be available to download again. Before selling your Xbox though, you should reset it to factory defaults to remove any private information. You can do it by following these steps: Open the Settings application Scroll down to ...

As Alex Myers points out, you can verify which account the game was purchased on by checking the order history. After checking which account the game was purchased on, there are one of two things that can be done: If the game was purchased on your account, you do not need to do anything. If the game was purchased on your friends account, you can submit a ...

According to the Microsoft support site you can't. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition can only be played with other Xbox 360 consoles on Xbox Live, and the Xbox One edition can only be played online with other Xbox One consoles. There is no cross-platform play with the other editions of Minecraft.

The PS3 and PS4 both support keyboards and mice, the Xbox 360 only supports keyboard but not mice, and the Xbox One doesn't appear to support either for now. It is said that the Xbox One might eventually get support for keyboard and mouse with Windows 10 for Xbox. Unfortunately, the games need to support keyboard and mouse as well, and not many do. Games ...

On a PC there is no difference in games between Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers- both work the same. The only thing you should keep in mind is that an Xbox controller will have "weird" layout or even completely refuse to work in very old games that use DirectInput, rather than XInput, but that won't differ between Xbox360 and Xbox One controllers ...

No, after you buy a game it is associated with your Xbox Live account and you can download it as many times as you'd like for no additional charge. This also includes apps, most subscriptions and DLC, and Any Backwards compatible game (From the Xbox 360, of course!)

You don't need to install an application for managing the playtime of your child, you just need to add him to your Microsoft Family as a child and change the playtime from your account. First, you need to add him onto your Microsoft Family. From "Add members to your family group": The way you add someone to your family group on Xbox One depends on ...

Xbox One controller WILL NOT work with the 360. I have both consoles and have tested. Microsoft stated that the controller shall not work on 360. Meaning Xbox One controller works only with Xbox One and 360 controller works with/only 360 console. But PS4 Dualshock controller works on 360 not sure about Xbox One though. Cited

First of all, don't worry; 50 degrees is perfectly normal. For future reference, the temperature of the air surrounding your console's main outlet vent is not necessarily reflective of the temperature of the CPU or graphics card(the primary generators of heat in a game console). As far as I know, there are no diagnostic tools to show you more precise ...

Well the easiest way I have found from experience Create a twitch account Download the twitch app on Xbox One Link your twitch account with your Xbox Live account Head over to your twitch profile and goto settings, enable highlights(basically twitch save your streams) Start streaming the game you want to record on your Xbox One After you have finished end ...

Yes, you can connect your smartphone to work as a controller, but not without a few caveats. To do so, you need the Xbox One Smartglass app, or if you have a Windows 10 phone, the Xbox app works as well. As you have noticed yourself, your phone needs to be connected to the same network as your Xbox. It doesn't have to be the same Wifi, though. As long as ...

If you bought it using your friend's account then the game will be owned by him. No matter what types of payment you use, the important thing is which account is the game goes to.

16

Congratulations, you just bought your friend a video game. If you're worried about wasting your money, ask your friend to either pay you for it, or to return the game for a refund.

It mentions Middle Earth and Shadow of War is in the enhanced list so it must be that.

If the Kinect is disconnected from the XBox One, is the console still usable? (Does unplugging the Kinect render the console inoperable?) No, your Xbox One will still function properly (just without the features the kinect uses (voice commands, facial recognition, etc)). I set mine up initially without the kinect connected. You will just see a symbal in ...

Starting with the February 2015 software update (which came out after I wrote the question and accepted TZHX's answer), this information is available on the console itself. As of April 2019, here's what you do: Highlight the game's icon on the Home screen or My Games And Apps Open the app options menu, such as by using the controller's hamburger Menu ...

Unfortunately, this is not possible. There is currently no way to fix this problem, as Microsoft has region locked the languages. You could try different regions, such as the U.S. that have an English setting and see if you still encounter the same problems.

So I finally found this. If you go into settings, you can select "system" settings. In there you can select "control offline content". In that setting you can uncheck "allow new profiles" and also set the age level for access when no one is signed in and create PassKey to prevent changing those settings. That will control what can be done when no one is ...

No, you cannot connect the Xbox One controller to the 360 receivers. They are different controllers with different tech and mechanical workings inside, so they share 0 compatibility. You can, however, just plug the XB1 controller in using any old micro USB cable (they are common household items nowadays) and it will work.

Actually, after messing around with the settings for a minute I figured out that turning on Iron Man mode enables achievements.

As per this article (emphasis mine), A Sony representative confirmed to CNET that the PS4 cannot receive infrared (IR) remote control commands, which means it won't work with a traditional universal remote such as the Logitech Harmony 650. We were also unable to find an IR receptor on our PS4 review unit, and Sony says the PS4 Eye camera can't receive IR ...

It is currently not possible. Backwards compatibility is only for these games: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility/available-games If MS makes the 360 version of Minecraft backwards compatible, it will be possible. But then you'll have to buy the XBox 360 version of the game to play on your XBox One.

12

Unfortunately, you cannot play on one Xbox Live on two Xbox One's simultaneously. You can only sign in to one Xbox One or one Xbox 360 console at a time. If you try to sign in on a second console, you'll be asked whether you want to sign out from the first console. If you respond yes, your account will be immediately signed out of the first Xbox One ...

At this very point in writing the answer you cant tell what your battery life is, but come the February System update it will be on the bottom right corner of the home screen.

It's Xbox. Can't get more official than the official website.

Yes, you can. You can use any regular Micro USB cable to connect an Xbox One controller to a PC.

You need to have a HDTV and a HDMI cable for your xbox. Start Minecraft when you've logged on with your first controller. Enter your desired world. Pause the game. Turn on and sync your other controllers if they haven't been connected before. (optional) Log in those controllers and press Resume Game. Your television screen should be split into two or four ...
