Closing this question makes no sense: I asked about a specific feature and also got a specific answer that solved my problem. Isn't this what this site is about, getting objective answers to objective questions?
@Wipqozn. I think the answer I accepted does a good job in answering my question and it DID helped me to solve my problem (which one to buy). Actually I also played Cities XL on my friend's computer and I have to say that the answer was pretty accurate.
