i I can't seem to break blocks in minecraft

My nephew got aholda hold of my laptop while I was playing minecraftMinecraft and he pressed on random keys, soand now I can't break any blocks. 

None of the suggestions or answers I find will workI've found so far have worked. How do I fix it?
