Super Mario Galaxy is the third 3D platformer in the Mario series. It was released in November 2007.
The game follows Mario, on a quest to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. Levels are galaxies filled with minor planets and worlds. Each planet has it's own gravitational force, allowing the player to completely circumnavigate the planets in the game.
The main aim of the game is to collect Power Stars, which are earned by completing galaxies or defeating enemies.
